Hey, I'm Steven Chao! While I'm using this website to showcase my professional portfolio, I'm also hoping to cultivate this place into something personal... like a friend visiting my home. A place to hold my creations and thoughts. While I'm primarily an animator doing 3D and 2D animation, I love learning and growing into different avenues such as web development, game development, storyboard, music, sound, etc! In my free time, I like to read manga, watch film / tv shows, play pickleball, run, journal, and play video games!

I graduated San Jose State University with a BFA in Animation, Illustration in Spring 2024.
